The Centre for Quantum Science and Engineering (CQSE) brings together a diverse portfolio of facilities and expertise that support research across quantum materials, devices, photonics, sensing, and advanced characterisation.
These capabilities span quantum materials engineering, spin-based measurements, nanofabrication, spectroscopy, terahertz technologies, and silicon photonics, providing researchers with the tools to explore and harness quantum phenomena.
Drawing on strengths from across The University of Manchester and its research institutes, these facilities underpin both fundamental discovery and translational research, fostering collaboration across disciplines and accelerating advancements in quantum science and engineering.
